Fendi seeks a Department Manager, Women's in Costa Mesa, CA (South Coast Plaza). $115,000 annually plus commission. Lead sales and client experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop the women's department team to deliver the Fendi Client Journey; set individual and team goals and monitor performance.
  • Recruit and secure succession plans with the Store Manager; implement development plans for high-potential talent and provide ongoing coaching.
  • Drive sales and category performance across the department and store through clienteling, cross-selling and tailored action plans.
  • Own floor management and client hosting to optimise conversion, retention and the customer experience; build and manage a personal client portfolio.
  • Manage inventory and stock accountability for the assigned categories; ensure corporate policies, standards and store procedures are implemented.
  • Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to plan rotation and ensure visual maintenance and merchandising strategy support business objectives.
  • Communicate corporate strategy and business information to the team through briefings and training; be an ambassador for the brand in the marketplace.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' related retail experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership with ability to set targets, drive results and manage performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to deliver coaching and feedback.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management functions; strong digital literacy.
  • Ready-to-wear (RTW) category experience preferred; clienteling experience required.
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays; ability to lift boxes up to 10 lbs.
  • Foreign language skills considered a plus and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience
