Department Manager position at Fendi Rome Palazzo in the Men's collection. Lead luxury retail operations with 5+ years fashion sales experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the business of the department through strategic understanding and stakeholder engagement
- Monitor and achieve category department performance against relevant KPIs
- Analyze category business performance and implement action plans to improve results
- Set category performance targets for team members in collaboration with the Store Manager
- Monitor competitor trading activities and provide feedback to Store Manager
- Leverage clienteling tools and CRM systems to achieve department and store business goals
- Deliver excellent customer service and implement clienteling activities as a sales leader
- Manage customer service quality to meet expectations and improve Mystery Shopper results
- Act as brand category ambassador to educate VIP and new clients
- Participate in ad-hoc clientele projects
- Ensure merchandise is properly managed, displayed, stored, and maintained
- Maintain inventory accuracy and shrink rates within company standards
- Report stock issues to Planning and Merchandising teams when best sellers are out of stock
- Maintain visual merchandising consistency with company standards
- Optimize display layouts and proximity storage management
- Conduct monthly performance discussions and coach team members
- Motivate the team to achieve individual and store objectives
- Organize team efficiently according to business needs and delegate responsibilities
- Translate strategic and business goals into concrete individual actions and objectives
- Conduct category training for team members
- Execute in-store training routines as set by Store Manager
Qualifications
- 5 years' experience in a supervisor role in fashion or luxury retail sales
- Master's degree or equivalent preferred
- High-level personal image standards

Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years in a supervisor or equivalent leadership role within fashion or luxury retail sales, with demonstrated exposure to the relevant product category and proven track record in managing department performance and team development.
Education
Master's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
