Fendi Department Manager position in Ladies Ready-to-Wear at London flagship store. Lead sales, team, and operations for this luxury fashion role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Ladies Ready-to-Wear category business through comprehensive market understanding and stakeholder engagement
  • Monitor and achieve category department KPIs, analyze business performance, and implement action plans to improve results
  • Set category performance targets for the team in collaboration with Store Manager
  • Monitor competitive trading activities and provide strategic feedback to Store Manager
  • Leverage clienteling tools and CRM systems to achieve department and store business goals
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and implement clienteling activities as sales leader
  • Manage customer service quality to meet expectations and improve Mystery Shopper results
  • Act as brand category ambassador educating VIP and new clients on product offerings
  • Ensure merchandise is properly displayed, stored, and maintained according to company standards
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and shrink rates within established parameters
  • Report stock availability issues on best sellers to Stock Planning and Merchandising teams
  • Align visual merchandising with sales performance and company standards
  • Conduct monthly individual performance reviews and provide coaching to team members
  • Motivate and organize the team efficiently according to business needs and delegate responsibilities
  • Translate strategic business goals into concrete individual actions and objectives
  • Execute category training and in-store training routines established by Store Manager
  • Perform additional duties as requested by Store Manager

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Fashion or Luxury Retail Sales
  • At least 5 years in a Supervisor or management role with category exposure
  • Master's Degree or equivalent qualification
  • High personal image and presentation standards
  • Excellent selling and communication skills
  • Strong relationship-building abilities
  • Self-reliant with high confidence and professionalism
  • Client-focused with demonstrated business acumen
  • Administration and financial management skills
  • Computer literacy and Retail Management System proficiency
  • Fluency in English required; third language preferred
