Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the department's business strategy, cultivating comprehensive understanding of the category and engaging all relevant stakeholders
  • Monitor and achieve category department performance against established KPIs and financial targets
  • Analyse category business performance, propose and implement action plans to improve results
  • Set category performance targets for the team and individual contributors in collaboration with the Store Manager
  • Monitor competitor trading activities and provide strategic feedback to Store Manager
  • Leverage clienteling tools and CRM platforms to achieve department and store business goals
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and implement clienteling activities across VIP and new clients
  • Manage customer service quality to meet company standards and customer expectations
  • Improve Mystery Shopper results through targeted action plans and quality enhancement initiatives
  • Act as brand category ambassador, educating clients on product heritage and category expertise
  • Ensure merchandise is properly displayed, stored, and maintained according to company standards
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and shrink rates within established company parameters
  • Report out-of-stock situations on bestsellers to Stock Planning and Merchandising teams
  • Maintain visual merchandising consistency with corporate brand standards and optimize display impact
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews and coaching sessions with team members
  • Motivate the team to perform at optimal levels and meet individual and store objectives
  • Organize and delegate responsibilities efficiently according to business needs
  • Conduct category training and execute in-store training routines established by Store Manager
  • Translate strategic business goals into concrete individual actions and performance objectives

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' supervisory experience in Fashion or Luxury Retail Sales
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Fluent English proficiency
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Strong selling and communication abilities
  • Client-focused approach with demonstrated business acumen
  • Proficiency in administration and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in Retail Management Systems and core computer applications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and genuine passion for the fashion and luxury industry
