Fendi — Continuous Improvement Intern in Fermo, Italy. Support production process analysis, cycle-time studies and efficiency projects at the Fendi Shoes Factory.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support analysis of existing production processes to identify inefficiencies and reduce waste, with attention to sustainable practices and environmental impact.
  • Contribute to workstation organisation and balancing to improve Overall Labour Effectiveness (OLE) and perform cycle-time analysis.
  • Collect production data, prepare periodic performance reports and present findings to the Continuous Improvement team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, product development) to support the launch of new products and onboarding of processes.
  • Advocate and participate in initiatives that promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the factory.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Management Engineering (or equivalent discipline).
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving aptitude demonstrated through academic projects or internships.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel reports, data analysis, PowerPoint presentations).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Genuine interest in manufacturing, footwear production and continuous improvement methodologies.
