Fendi seeks a full-time Collection Merchandising Intern in Rome to support collection development, product lifecycle activities, market and competitor analysis, seasonal assortment strategy, showroom operations, sample coordination, and sustainability initiatives. The internship offers an overview of luxury merchandising processes and pays EUR 800 gross per month, with lunch tickets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis and prepare dedicated reports.
- Contribute to seasonal brief strategy and assortment decisions.
- Support day-to-day collection development activities.
- Assist with showroom activities during the buying campaign.
- Manage and coordinate collection samples across all involved functions.
- Support monitoring of sustainable product attributes, eco-friendly material initiatives, and circularity metrics across the collection lifecycle.
- Use innovative digital tools, such as AI, to build faster, deeper understanding of markets, competitors, and trends and identify key insights and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Business degree.
- A first experience or internship in the luxury or fashion industry is a plus.
- Passion for and good knowledge of the fashion and luxury industry, with a strong interest in sustainability.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Energetic and proactive, with strong teamwork abilities.
