Fendi seeks a CAD Industrialization Specialist in Bagno a Ripoli, Italy — optimize leather goods CAD patterns and support production (on-site).
Role & Responsibilities
- Validate and double-check models and CAD patterns to ensure conformance with design intent and manufacturing feasibility.
- Monitor bag production to verify correspondence between samples, technical packs and finished goods.
- Collaborate with the Modelling/Prototyping Department to guide correct prototype development and revisions.
- Optimize patterns, construction sequences and component specifications to reduce cost and enhance production efficiency.
- Anticipate and manage production issues, propose corrective actions and drive implementation with suppliers and internal teams.
- Provide technical support for the outsourcing process, including supplier handover and quality follow-up.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' professional experience in modeling or industrialization within the luxury leather goods sector.
- Deep knowledge of production workflows (preparation and assembly), leather materials, reinforcements, adhesives and hardware.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD for pattern making; experience with Aimpes is a plus.
- Experience with Stealth and strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and technical documentation.
- Proven familiarity with quality standards and production processes specific to luxury leather goods.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving orientation and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in Italian.

Minimum 5 years' experience in modeling or industrialization for luxury leather goods, with hands-on involvement in pattern development, prototype validation and production support.
Education
Degree or diploma in fashion design, industrial engineering, product development, leather goods technology, or equivalent professional experience in luxury accessories.
