FENDI is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Melbourne (Chadstone). Permanent full-time role leading boutique sales, team development and operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Co-lead daily boutique operations alongside the Store Manager to ensure an impeccable client experience and operational excellence.
  • Drive sales performance and business development via clienteling, KPI monitoring, sales forecasting and targeted initiatives to meet revenue targets.
  • Recruit, coach and develop boutique staff; conduct performance reviews, deliver training and foster a high-performance, client-focused team culture.
  • Oversee inventory management and stock control processes, including receiving, replenishment, shrinkage prevention and stock accuracy.
  • Manage administrative tasks and reporting, including sales reporting, payroll support, compliance with brand standards and local regulations.
  • Implement and maintain visual merchandising directives to ensure windows and in-store displays reflect FENDI’s aesthetic and campaign calendar.
  • Act as an ambassador for the brand, resolving complex client enquiries and cultivating long-term relationships with high-value clientele.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' supervisory or management experience in luxury fashion or premium retail.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing retail teams in a boutique environment.
  • Strong people management skills with demonstrated coaching, talent development and performance management capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of inventory control, stock processes and visual merchandising standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English. Additional language skills are highly advantageous.

Experience
