Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations and assume full responsibility in their absence, ensuring continuity of leadership.
- Lead, coach and develop the sales team through onboarding, in‑store training and regular performance reviews; build succession plans and internal growth paths.
- Drive sales performance and client acquisition by managing client books, coordinating in‑store appointments and promoting client retention and cross‑selling.
- Implement and optimise CRM and clienteling tools to cultivate long‑term client relationships and enhance personalised service.
- Act as a sales role model by championing the Customer Journey and the brand’s selling ceremony; deliver morning briefs and motivate the team to meet targets.
- Oversee visual merchandising alongside the Visual Merchandising Ambassador to ensure displays meet brand standards and support product performance.
- Manage inventory control and shrinkage prevention: ensure accurate merchandise handling, cycle counts, and that opening/closing counts are completed to guidelines.
- Ensure retail operational standards are met, including cash, credit and check procedures, petty cash controls, grooming guidelines and company policies.
- Monitor service quality and Mystery Shopper results, propose improvement plans and provide actionable feedback to the Store Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in retail; minimum 3 years in the luxury sector preferred.
- Proven experience with POS systems and inventory management functions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is a plus.
- Demonstrable ability to lead teams, drive results and develop talent; goal‑oriented and proactive.
- Flexible availability including some nights, weekends and holidays; ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and digital literacy; ready‑to‑wear (RTW) experience preferred.
- Foreign language skills are an advantage.
