Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in all aspects of store leadership and assume full managerial responsibility in their absence.
  • Lead, coach and develop the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets; build succession plans and internal growth pathways.
  • Champion the client experience by driving clienteling, appointment management and long‑term relationship development using CRM tools.
  • Implement and monitor commercial action plans to grow business and product performance through selling ceremony, cross‑selling and targeted initiatives.
  • Oversee visual merchandising standards in collaboration with the Visual Merchandising Ambassador to ensure alignment with brand directives.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and control shrinkage by enforcing cycle counts, opening/closing procedures and correct merchandise handling.
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling, petty cash, POS and transactional procedures; deliver daily morning briefs and enforce store standards and grooming guidelines.
  • Recruit and onboard new hires, coordinate in‑store training routines and assess performance to drive continuous improvement (including Mystery Shopper outcomes).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in retail; minimum 3 years in luxury retail preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving team performance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train and motivate teams.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management functions; experience with CRM and clienteling tools.
  • Ready‑to‑wear (RTW) retail experience preferred; foreign language skills are a plus.
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays; ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
  • High level of digital literacy and strong organisational aptitude.
