ETA SA Grenchen seeks experienced Toolmaker/Polymechanic for precision watch component manufacturing in Switzerland.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and manufacture precision tools and fixtures for watch component production
- Maintain and repair tooling equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency
- Support the production of watch dials and heads for Swatch and Flik Flak brands
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement manufacturing improvements
- Ensure quality standards and precision tolerances are maintained in all tooling work
Qualifications
- Apprenticeship or formal training as a Toolmaker or Polymechanic
- Proficiency in precision machining and tool design
- Experience with CNC machinery and modern manufacturing technologies
- Knowledge of Swiss watchmaking production standards
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience as a Toolmaker or Polymechanic in a precision manufacturing or watchmaking environment.
Education
Apprenticeship completion (Lehre) or equivalent formal training in toolmaking, polymechanics, or precision manufacturing.
