ETA SA Grenchen seeks Tooling Technician - Plastics for injection molding setup of Swiss watch components.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Set up and configure injection molding machines and tooling for plastic watch components
  • Conduct trial runs and process validations to ensure component specifications are met
  • Monitor production parameters and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality standards
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in plastics processing and tooling systems
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize manufacturing efficiency
  • Maintain detailed records of setup configurations and process parameters

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in injection molding setup and plastics processing
  • Technical proficiency with industrial molding machinery and tooling systems
  • Strong understanding of polymer materials and processing parameters
