ETA SA Grenchen seeks Tooling Technician - Plastics for injection molding setup of Swiss watch components.
Role & Responsibilities
- Set up and configure injection molding machines and tooling for plastic watch components
- Conduct trial runs and process validations to ensure component specifications are met
- Monitor production parameters and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Troubleshoot technical issues in plastics processing and tooling systems
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize manufacturing efficiency
- Maintain detailed records of setup configurations and process parameters
Qualifications
- Proven experience in injection molding setup and plastics processing
- Technical proficiency with industrial molding machinery and tooling systems
- Strong understanding of polymer materials and processing parameters
- Experience with precision components or watch manufacturing is advantageous
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in plastics processing, injection molding setup, or related tooling roles in precision manufacturing environments.
Education
Vocational training or apprenticeship in plastics technology, tool-making, or industrial engineering; or equivalent practical experience.

The successful candidate will be located in Grenchen, Solothurn, Switzerland, with easy access to Basel.
