ETA SA Grenchen seeks Production Supervisor & Machine Setup Specialist in injection molding. Lead plastic production for Swatch Group, manage teams, optimize processes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide technical and personnel leadership to the injection molding production team
- Ensure smooth production operations aligned with quality, delivery, and efficiency targets
- Plan resource allocation including staff, machinery, and production equipment
- Train, develop, and support team members through regular performance discussions
- Set up, program, and optimize injection molding machines and peripheral equipment
- Participate in prototyping, process optimization, and automation initiatives
- Maintain quality standards and manage quality deviations and customer complaints
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives (KVP) across the production area
- Collaborate closely with quality assurance, laboratory, tooling, and logistics departments
Qualifications
- Completed apprenticeship as Kunststofftechnologe EFZ (Swiss plastics technician) or equivalent qualification
- Leadership experience in industrial plastic production (preferred)
- Thorough knowledge of injection molding and plastic component manufacturing
- Proven experience in production process optimization and Lean Management
- Fluent German; French language skills are advantageous

Education
Completed apprenticeship as Kunststofftechnologe EFZ (Swiss certified plastics technician) or an equivalent vocational qualification in plastics manufacturing or industrial production.
