ETA SA, part of the Swatch Group, seeks a Production Operator to join its Grenchen manufacturing facility. The role encompasses order preparation, material supply management, plasma pre-treatment of substrates, colour mixing and filling, quality control, and equipment operation in the dial production department for Swatch and Flik Flak brands. This position requires precision, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work within a clean-room environment across three-shift rotations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare production orders including print specifications, tool setup, and colour mixing according to established formulae
- Order and distribute consumable materials for production operations
- Perform plasma pre-treatment for substrate surface cleaning
- Replenish solvents and additives throughout operations
- Fill colours into mixing and dispensing units
- Maintain inventory records for all colours and additives
- Pre-clean and prepare components (rondelles) for production
- Manage digital documentation and production templates (clichés)
- Operate dispenser equipment and colour application systems
- Execute cleaning protocols for colour containers, equipment, and departmental areas
- Stock and retrieve materials according to prioritized work schedules
- Ensure compliance with established quality standards and operational guidelines
- Complete accurate system entries and logouts in Cronetwork
- Record and close production orders in the system
- Report deviations and irregularities to supervisory personnel
- Communicate shift information during hand-overs
- Assist in training and onboarding new team members
- Provide supplementary support to other departments as needed
Qualifications
- Knowledge of colour handling and solvent management
- Apprenticeship qualification as Logistiker EFZ preferred

Skills
Experience
Practical experience in production environments, material logistics, or manufacturing operations is advantageous. Familiarity with shift-based work routines and industrial safety protocols is beneficial.
Education
Mandatory: Good German language proficiency. Advantageous: Apprenticeship as Logistiker EFZ or comparable vocational qualification in manufacturing or logistics.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Grenchen, Solothurn, Switzerland, with easy access to Zurich.
