ETA SA seeks production mechanic apprentices (EFZ, 3 years) in Grenchen, Switzerland for 2027. Hands-on training in horological manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain precision machinery and production equipment in a horological manufacturing environment
- Assemble, adjust, and test mechanical and quartz watch movements according to technical specifications
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and quality control procedures on manufacturing equipment
- Collaborate with supervisors and experienced technicians to meet production targets and quality standards
- Document production activities, technical observations, and maintenance records accurately
Qualifications
- Successful completion of mandatory Swiss secondary education (Compulsory Education/Oberflächenbearbeitungstechniker or equivalent)
- Strong aptitude for technical and mechanical subjects
- Manual dexterity and precision-oriented mindset
