ETA SA, a high-tech manufacturing enterprise within the Swatch Group and the world's largest watch manufacturer, seeks a three-year apprentice in production mechanics. The successful candidate will fabricate precision components and operate production machinery to manufacture watch movements and mechanical products, while mastering programming, optimization, assembly, diagnostics, and maintenance procedures under the guidance of experienced professional trainers.
Role & Responsibilities
- Fabricate precision mechanical components and assemblies for horological and mechanical products using modern production machinery
- Program and optimize production machines to ensure efficient and accurate manufacturing
- Assemble component subgroups and perform repairs on individual mechanical elements
- Perform routine maintenance on production installations and diagnose technical faults
- Restore equipment to operational status and troubleshoot production issues
Qualifications
- Lower secondary or intermediate educational level completed
- Demonstrated interest in practical and technical work
- Willingness to embrace flexible working schedules including shift work
- Strong adaptability and capacity to evolve within rapidly changing technological environments
