ETA is seeking a Production Line Mechanic in Sion to maintain and repair production machines, set up calibres and models on automated lines, maintain tooling, improve equipment and ensure product quality while contributing directly to production. The role works alternating two-shift schedules.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain, adjust, repair and troubleshoot production machines to ensure their proper operation.
- Set up different calibres and models on automated production lines.
- Manufacture and/or maintain tooling required for the proper operation of assembly lines.
- Drive the development and modernization of production equipment, continually improving the manufacture of products and prototypes.
- Ensure the quality of the finished product in accordance with technical specifications.
- Actively participate in production.
Qualifications
- CFC qualification as a polymechanic or equivalent training.
- Flexible and able to work under pressure; willing to work alternating two-shift schedules.
- Strong interest in new technologies and openness to training.
- Autonomous, proactive, rigorous and solution-oriented.
- Good interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit.
- Fluent French; German is an asset.
