ETA SA Manufacture Horlogère Suisse, part of the Swatch Group, seeks a talented apprentice polymechanic to complete a four-year professional training programme (EFZ) in Grenchen. The apprentice will fabricate tools, components, and fixtures, and produce series of small precision parts using both conventional and computer-controlled machinery. Responsibilities include programming and optimizing production machines, executing parts with high precision, and performing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Fabricate tools, individual components, and production fixtures for watch manufacturing and mechanical products
- Operate conventional and CNC-controlled machines to produce small parts with high precision
- Program and optimize computer-controlled machining equipment
- Perform machine maintenance and diagnostics to resolve production errors
- Adhere to strict quality and precision standards in all manufacturing tasks
- Collaborate with production teams to meet shared manufacturing goals
