ETA SA Grenchen seeks Polymechanics Apprentice (4-year EFZ programme) beginning 2027 in precision watchmaking manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Master the fundamentals of precision mechanics and mechanical systems under the supervision of qualified trainers
- Develop practical skills in the manufacture and assembly of mechanical components and timepiece movements
- Progress through structured rotations across production departments to gain comprehensive knowledge of watchmaking processes
- Operate precision machinery and tools to high tolerances in support of ETA's manufacturing operations
Qualifications
- Compulsory education completed or equivalent qualification
- Strong aptitude for mechanical reasoning and technical problem-solving
- Demonstrated interest in precision engineering and manufacturing
- Proficiency in German (native or near-fluent level required for Swiss apprenticeship system)
