ETA SA, a high-tech manufacturing subsidiary of the Swatch Group, seeks a dynamic apprentice polymechanic to join its operation in Sion. The apprentice will fabricate tools, components, and devices using conventional and computer-controlled machinery, program and optimize equipment, and maintain production systems with precision to support the manufacture of watch movements and mechanical products.
Role & Responsibilities
- Fabricate tools, components, and mechanical devices using conventional and computer-controlled machinery
- Program, optimize, and operate precision manufacturing equipment for series and individual production
- Ensure maintenance of equipment and conduct diagnostic troubleshooting in case of malfunction
- Maintain high-precision manufacturing standards and meet ambitious production targets
- Work collaboratively within team environments to achieve production objectives
Qualifications
- Completed secondary education (level 1 or 2)
- Strong aptitude in geometry, algebra, calculation, and technical drawing
- Precision and accuracy in technical work
- Ability to thrive in rapidly evolving technological environments
