Role & Responsibilities
- Complete a four‑year vocational apprenticeship in polymechanics (CFC) combining on‑the‑job training and vocational school attendance.
- Learn and perform precision machining operations, including CNC milling and turning, under the supervision of qualified trainers.
- Assemble and adjust small mechanical components and watch movement subassemblies with micrometric tolerances.
- Interpret technical drawings and work instructions to set up tools, fixtures and production sequences.
- Carry out first‑article checks and routine quality control using hand gauges and micrometres.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of production equipment and maintain a safe, orderly workplace.
- Follow company safety, quality and production procedures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document training progress and competencies as required by the apprenticeship programme and trainers.
Qualifications
- Completion of compulsory schooling or equivalent; suitable for school leavers seeking a federal CFC apprenticeship.
- Strong manual dexterity, excellent hand‑eye coordination and good near vision.
- Demonstrable interest in mechanics, fine manufacturing or watchmaking.
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to commit to a four‑year vocational training programme.
