ETA SA, the high-tech watchmaking manufacture within the Swatch Group, seeks a motivated apprentice to train as a certified polymechanic (CFC). Over a four-year apprenticeship, the candidate will master the fabrication of precision tools, components, and devices for horological and mechanical production, working with both conventional and computer-controlled machinery. The role encompasses programming, optimization, quality control to exacting tolerances, and preventive maintenance of advanced manufacturing equipment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Fabricate precision tools, components, and mechanical devices for watch movements and industrial applications
- Program and optimize computer-controlled and conventional manufacturing machinery
- Produce small-batch and serial components to stringent precision and tolerance standards
- Perform equipment maintenance and diagnostic troubleshooting
- Collaborate with skilled technicians to meet ambitious production targets within a structured apprenticeship framework
