ETA is seeking a Plastic Injection Molding Team Leader and Technician in Grenchen to lead the production team, coordinate resources, and oversee quality, efficiency, machine setup, and continuous improvement. The role also supports employee development, process optimization, sampling, and automation projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide technical and personnel leadership for the production team in the injection molding area.
- Ensure smooth production operations in terms of quality, deadlines, and efficiency.
- Plan staffing and resources, including personnel, machines, and operating equipment.
- Onboard, train, and develop employees.
- Conduct employee reviews and support personnel-related matters.
- Continuously optimize processes and workflows through continuous improvement.
- Set up and program injection molding machines and peripheral equipment.
- Contribute to sampling, process optimization, and automation projects.
- Ensure quality requirements are met and handle complaints.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance, the laboratory, toolmaking, and logistics.
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a plastics technologist (EFZ) or equivalent qualification.
- Leadership experience in industrial plastics production is an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of injection molding and plastic component manufacturing.
- Experience optimizing production processes and in Lean Management.
- Structured, independent, and responsible approach to work.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Fluent German; French is an advantage.
