ETA SA, a leading Swiss watchmaking manufacturer within the Swatch Group, seeks an apprentice technical drafter for a four-year vocational training programme commencing in 2027. The successful candidate will create precision 2D and 3D technical drawings and construction plans for micro-mechanical components and watchmaking parts using modern CAD software, serving as a vital interface between product development and manufacturing execution.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create precision 2D and 3D technical drawings and design specifications for smallest mechanical components in watchmaking
- Develop construction plans and technical documentation for micro-mechanical devices and precision fixtures using CAD software
- Collaborate with product development and manufacturing teams to translate technical designs into production-feasible specifications
- Contribute to the fabrication process of precision components from diverse materials within the horological engineering domain
- Maintain meticulous technical documentation and ensure accuracy and compliance with production standards
Qualifications
- Excellent standard educational foundation (secondary school upper tier or equivalent)
