ETA SA seeks full-time IT System Engineer in Grenchen, Switzerland to lead digital transformation initiatives for the Swatch Group subsidiary.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise IT systems and infrastructure architecture
- Support the organization's digital transformation programmes, including digital manufacturing and IT Service Management initiatives
- Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure system security, reliability, and optimal performance across the manufacturing environment
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for IT infrastructure and systems
- Participate in digital transformation projects focused on sustainability and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT systems engineering and infrastructure design
- Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems, networks, and IT Service Management frameworks
- Experience with manufacturing or industrial IT environments preferred

Skills
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in IT systems engineering, infrastructure management, or a related technical role, preferably within manufacturing or complex operational environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional certification (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA); or equivalent practical experience demonstrating mastery of IT systems architecture and infrastructure.
