ETA SA in Grenchen seeks a Head of Quality Assurance to lead manufacturing quality systems for Swiss watches and movements.
Role & Responsibilities
- Establish and enforce quality control standards and procedures across all production lines
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team to ensure consistent adherence to specifications
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes and finished products
- Identify process improvements and implement corrective actions to minimize defects
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
- Maintain comprehensive quality documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Report quality metrics and performance indicators to senior management
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in quality assurance or manufacturing quality control
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards

- Excellent organizational and communication skills in a multicultural environment

Experience
Minimum 7–10 years of professional experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing quality management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
Education
Technical qualification or degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality management, or a related discipline; additional certifications in quality management (e.g., ASQ, ISO 9001 lead auditor) are advantageous.
