ETA SA Polymechanic – Tool & Die Erosion role in Grenchen, Switzerland. Full-time tooling specialist position.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate spark erosion and wire erosion machines
  • Assemble and disassemble injection molding tools
  • Manufacture form inserts, individual components, replacement and wear parts for existing and new tools
  • Perform maintenance and servicing of injection molding tools
  • Execute technical modifications and engineering changes
  • Contribute specialized technical expertise to optimization and innovation projects

Qualifications

  • Completed apprenticeship as Polymechanic or Tool Maker
  • Professional experience in tool and die building and erosion techniques
  • Experience in plastics technology (advantageous)
  • Problem-solving mindset with focus on efficient and innovative solutions
  • Exceptional manual dexterity and precision in work at tolerances in the thousandths of a millimeter
  • Familiarity with modern manufacturing technologies
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and resilient work ethic
