ETA SA Grenchen seeks Digital Print Technician for on-site watch component printing setup and production support.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Set up and configure digital printing equipment and software for watch component production
  • Optimize print parameters including colour calibration, ink delivery, and substrate handling
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective measures to minimize production downtime
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation and maintain equipment calibration records
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure specifications are met
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance and component inspections
  • Train production staff on proper equipment operation and safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Technical certification or apprenticeship in printing technology, digital printing, or mechanical engineering
  • Demonstrated experience setting up and operating digital printing equipment
  • Proficiency with printing control software and digital imaging systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
  • Understanding of colour management and print quality standards
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications

Experience
