ETA SA seeks a Digital Print Setup Technician in Grenchen, Switzerland. Operate precision printing equipment for Swiss-made watch components.
Role & Responsibilities
- Independently configure and operate advanced digital printing equipment
- Conduct quality assurance through inspections, template adjustments, and SPC (Statistical Process Control) monitoring
- Serve as primary technical resource during shift for troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Perform precision measurements and implement corrective measures to maintain quality standards
- Maintain equipment cleanliness, organization, and optimal operational performance
- Support the training and onboarding of new production team members
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as Drucktechnologe (Print Technician) EFZ or Medientechnologe (Media Technician) EFZ
- Demonstrated experience in digital printing or four-color printing
- Strong technical aptitude and commitment to quality
- Excellent command of PC systems, including machine software and MS Office
- Normal color vision and working knowledge of color metrics
- Willingness to work rotating shifts in a 2–3 shift operation
Skills
Experience
Experience in digital printing or four-color printing environments is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with industrial-scale production processes and equipment maintenance practices.
Education
Completed vocational training certificate (EFZ) as Drucktechnologe (Print Technician) or Medientechnologe (Media Technician).
