Role & Responsibilities
- Develop proficiency in precision machining and mechanical assembly under the mentorship of certified training professionals
- Master the operation and maintenance of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery and conventional machine tools
- Learn to read technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for mechanical components used in watchmaking
- Participate in the manufacture of watch movements and mechanical components with attention to tolerances and quality standards
- Acquire hands-on experience in fabricating both mechanical and quartz movement parts
- Contribute to production workflows while adhering to workplace safety protocols and occupational health standards
Qualifications
- Completion of obligatory schooling (typically compulsory education through age 15 in Switzerland)
- Demonstrated aptitude for technical subjects and mathematical reasoning
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fine motor skills
