ETA SA, the high-tech watch manufacturing division of the Swatch Group, seeks a motivated apprentice for a three-year CFC (Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training) programme as an Automated Machine Operator in Boncourt. The apprentice will configure and monitor modern production and packaging machinery, contribute to optimal capacity utilization and productivity, and develop comprehensive knowledge of the complete manufacturing chain from raw materials to finished timepiece. Basic mechanical maintenance tasks and prompt troubleshooting under supervision will be core responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Configure and monitor modern automated production and packaging machinery (screw fastening systems, position verification equipment, etc.)
- Maintain optimal production capacity utilization and productivity through continuous machinery oversight
- Coordinate and pilot individual production processes throughout the manufacturing cycle
- Execute simple mechanical maintenance and preventive servicing tasks
- Identify technical defects immediately and implement corrective measures
- Escalate complex machinery issues to senior technicians when required
- Develop comprehensive understanding of the entire production chain from raw materials to finished product

- Mandatory Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) commitment for three years
- Secondary school education or intermediate level qualification
