ETA SA, a Swiss haute horlogerie manufacturer and part of the Swatch Group, seeks an apprentice for a three-year certified Road Transport Professional programme (EFZ). The successful candidate will operate trucks, articulated vehicles, and semi-trailers to transport goods throughout Switzerland and internationally, while performing vehicle maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs. Responsibilities include route planning, cargo documentation verification, safe load securing, and customer delivery coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate trucks and articulated vehicles for goods transportation across Switzerland and internationally
- Plan routes, calculate travel times, and coordinate loading/unloading schedules
- Verify transport documentation and compliance requirements
- Perform vehicle cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs
- Ensure safe and compliant cargo loading and securing
- Deliver goods to multiple customers and manage customer interactions
Qualifications
- Completion of upper or lower secondary education (Volksschulstufe)
- Medical clearance from the cantonal road traffic authority's occupational physician
- Swiss apprenticeship eligibility
