ETA SA, a high-tech manufacturing division of the Swatch Group, seeks a Logistics Apprentice for a three-year vocational program (CFC) based in Fontainemelon. The apprentice will manage the complete logistics cycle—receiving, inspecting, and registering watchmaking components and materials within warehouse systems; using forklifts and modern material handling equipment to transport and store goods; monitoring inventory levels to maintain optimal stock; and coordinating dispatch and shipment. The role demands technical proficiency with state-of-the-art warehouse systems and strong organizational capabilities in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, verify, and register incoming merchandise and watchmaking components into warehouse management systems
- Transport and store goods using forklifts and material handling equipment to designated storage locations
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory
- Prepare goods for dispatch and manage shipment processes
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements and warehouse transactions
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics team members to ensure efficient operations
- Adapt to flexible work schedules as required by operational demands
Qualifications
- Completion of lower or upper secondary education (Niveau 1 or 2)
- Dynamic, motivated personality with genuine interest in logistics operations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
