ETA SA Manufacture Horlogère Suisse, a division of the Swatch Group, seeks motivated apprentices for a four-year Automatician CFC program commencing in 2027. The apprentice will acquire comprehensive technical expertise in automated systems, electrical controls, and industrial machinery while supporting the manufacture of mechanical and quartz movements. Under the guidance of professional trainers, the apprentice will design, build, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment and automation systems serving the world's largest watch group.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build, install, and repair automated systems, electrical controls, production machinery, robots, and apparatus
- Collaborate with engineers and developers to design solutions and develop custom control systems
- Configure component systems, networks, and industrial devices according to specifications
- Mount, wire, and integrate electrical, electronic, and pneumatic components
- Test machine functions and safety systems; identify and troubleshoot faults
- Participate in prototype development, testing, and optimization in team settings
- Prepare technical documentation as required for specific work areas
- Commission systems at customer sites and perform maintenance and service operations

- Completion of middle or upper secondary education (Mittlere oder höchste Volksschulstufe)
- Strong reliability and sense of responsibility
