The traveling Beauty Advisor and Makeup Artist supports Too Faced sales in Chatswood through in-store promotions, events, product demonstrations and personalized customer service, while maintaining the brand space and monitoring stock. This is an on-call/freelance role requiring availability for retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve sales goals set by the Manager by executing in-store promotional and event calendars.
- Review weekly sales with the Manager and, where needed, coach on additional strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service by educating customers about Too Faced and its products.
- Demonstrate products on customers, explain their benefits and build personal relationships to foster customer loyalty.
- Participate in in-store events to drive business and ensure each event or activity remains on-brand.
- Maintain the Too Faced space through merchandising and cleanliness in line with brand image and standards.
- Inform management well in advance of seasonal activity to support appropriate setup and preparation.
- Alert management to out-of-stock items as they occur.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience in the cosmetics or beauty industry.
- Knowledge of Too Faced products and a passion for the beauty industry.
- Excellent makeup and artistry skills.
- Team-oriented, with the ability to work in a selling, goal-driven environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Ability to provide proof of the right to live and work in Australia if invited to attend an interview.
