A highly skilled makeup artist position combining creative and technical expertise to deliver personalized in-store consultations for Estée Lauder. The role encompasses customer education, product application, in-store event coordination, and visual merchandising excellence within a dynamic retail environment, requiring retail experience and commitment to prestige beauty standards.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide expertly executed makeup consultations and applications, combining technical skill with personalized customer service
• Create inspirational and welcoming in-store experiences that educate customers on product benefits and application techniques
• Execute and support in-store events and promotional activities to drive brand engagement and sales impact
• Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure product displays and counter presentation exceed competitive benchmarks
• Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently during all shifts
• Work collaboratively within the beauty counter team to achieve sales targets and maintain service excellence
• Demonstrate product knowledge across the Estée Lauder portfolio and provide authentic beauty consultation

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate high-level creative and technical makeup expertise, whether through formal certification or proven amateur experience
• Proven capacity to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service consistently
• Competence with retail point-of-sale software systems
• Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
• Right to live and work in the United Kingdom
• Demonstrated comfort in fast-paced retail environments

Skills

Experience

Previous makeup artistry qualification or retail beauty counter experience is preferred; however, applicants demonstrating amateur-level creative and technical expertise are encouraged to apply.

Education

Formal makeup artistry qualification or equivalent training desirable but not essential.
