Estée Lauder is seeking a part-time Key Holder for The Cosmetics Company Store in Deer Park, New York. The role supports store management, coaches the sales team, delivers personalized customer service, reconciles cash and opens and closes the store on a rotating schedule; the hourly pay range is $18–$24, with eligibility for a bonus program.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the store.
- Lead by example through coaching and mentoring, modelling the behaviours expected of the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service and achieve sales and customer service targets.
- Perform start- and end-of-day cash reconciliation.
- Open and close the store on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Previous retail operations experience, including cash reconciliation and opening and closing the store, is desirable.
- Previous supervisory experience, including coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets, is desirable.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Must be able to provide proof of the right to live and work in the country if invited to interview.
