Role & Responsibilities
- Set the strategy for the Supplier Quality department globally, identify key initiatives, and ensure appropriate resources and organizational structure are in place to operationalize successfully
- Establish and monitor the Supplier Quality budget globally in alignment with fiscal year strategy and operational needs
- Continuously monitor and evaluate Supplier Quality departmental and supplier performance against KPIs, metrics, scorecards, and budget to prioritize resources and ensure execution against goals
- Prioritize and oversee rapid, effective resolution of supplier issues; champion open communication, transparency, and collaboration to prevent and address quality concerns across the organization
- Ensure an effective risk-based supplier qualification, auditing, monitoring, and corrective action program is meeting expectations in close collaboration with internal audit and global supplier relations functions
- Identify improvement needs, establish clear project charters, and provide leadership to drive successful completion of improvement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional partners
- Foster employee growth within the Supplier Quality team through targeted development, recognition, competency gap assessment, and cultivation of an engaged and empowered workforce
Qualifications
- 12–15 years of experience in leadership roles within global consumer goods or pharmaceutical companies
- Demonstrated experience managing global teams and coaching/developing talent; ability to develop strong succession pipelines
- Proven aptitude for leading multiple change projects and challenging organizational norms
- Track record developing strategy and ensuring budgetary alignment across functions
- Strong potential to advance to the next organizational level or transition into complementary functions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex information clearly and cascade strategy throughout the team
- Experience communicating effectively with senior leadership across multiple functions
- Team player with high motivation to drive meaningful impact
- Learning agility and ability to adapt quickly to changing business demands
- Thorough knowledge of quality management systems
- Thorough knowledge of applied statistics
- Deep technical knowledge and insight into production processes
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent; extensive knowledge of lean methodologies

Experience
12–15 years of progressive leadership experience in quality, supplier management, or related functions within global consumer goods or pharmaceutical organizations. Candidate should demonstrate proven success managing global teams, implementing large-scale quality improvement initiatives, and driving organizational change.
Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, business administration, or related discipline required. Advanced degree or relevant professional certification (Six Sigma Black Belt, quality management credentials) strongly preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 228,250 to USD 388,550 per annum.
