The Estée Lauder Companies seeks a motivated intern to join its Supply Chain department for a six-month engagement in Cassina de' Pecchi, Italy. Assigned to one specific project within Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, or Continuous Improvement, the intern will gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations, data analysis, and process optimization. Responsibilities include process mapping, data analysis and reporting, project support for efficiency initiatives, cross-functional collaboration, and identification of standardization and innovation opportunities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize workflows within the assigned supply chain area through structured process mapping and improvement methodologies
- Develop data analysis tools and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and service levels
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute project deliverables
- Identify opportunities for process standardization and operational innovation within the supply chain function
- Prepare reports and presentations documenting findings and recommendations
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Economics, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated interest in supply chain and operations management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within team environments
- Attention to detail with flexibility and intellectual curiosity

Experience
No prior professional supply chain experience required; academic exposure to operations, logistics, or supply chain concepts is advantageous.
Education
Degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative or business-oriented field, with an expected graduation date during or after the internship period.
