Estée Lauder Companies seeks a part-time Key Holder in Tinton Falls, NJ to support retail operations, staff supervision, and customer service excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor sales team members to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service while achieving sales and customer service targets
- Conduct daily cash reconciliation and manage point-of-sale operations at opening and closing
- Support Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring smooth and efficient store operations
- Model exemplary customer service behaviors and retail best practices to set the standard for the sales team
- Assume responsibility for opening and closing the store on a scheduled rota basis
- Manage retail operations during assigned shifts in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale software
- Demonstrated coaching and mentoring abilities
- Retail operations experience including cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures (desirable)
- Previous supervisory experience managing sales and customer service performance (desirable)
- Eligibility to work in the United States with proof of right to live and work
Skills
Experience
Previous retail experience within cosmetics or beauty retail is essential. Prior supervisory or team-leading experience, while desirable, is not mandatory for this entry-level supervisory role. Demonstrated ability to work flexible retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events, is required.
