Role & Responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance business partner to UK brand VPs and General Managers, supporting operational and strategic decision-making across all assigned brand clusters
• Lead long-range financial planning and strategy development, managing the annual budget cycle and monthly financial forecasting submissions aligned with global and regional priorities
• Deliver comprehensive financial analysis and business case assessments for new initiatives, evaluating financial viability and return on investment to support commercial decisions
• Oversee One Stream reporting systems, ensuring accurate classification of financial data by category and channel in alignment with global finance teams and brand finance functions
• Provide actionable financial insights through performance analysis, competitive landscape monitoring, and macro-economic trend evaluation to inform business strategy
• Develop and execute pricing strategy in collaboration with brand leadership and marketing teams, balancing revenue objectives with brand equity considerations
• Lead financial discussions in regional and global brand reviews, ensuring key issues are surfaced, explained, and resolved collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders
• Control operating expenses and drive resource allocation effectiveness across assigned functions
• Manage and mentor one FP&A resource with direct line responsibility for professional development and performance
• Participate actively in the UK FP&A function, supporting department-wide initiatives and contributing to best practices and process improvements

Qualifications

• Previous business partnering experience at senior leadership level, ideally within rapidly evolving retail or FMCG environments
• Advanced stakeholder management capabilities including relationship building, conflict resolution, and cross-level communication skills
• Strong ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-financial audiences and to influence decisions beyond numerical analysis
• Commercial acumen with capacity to apply analytical expertise to diverse business issues and drive strategic recommendations
• Demonstrated agility in managing competing deadlines and priorities across multiple stakeholders in complex organizational settings
• Willingness to travel regularly between Fareham (FP&A team location) and London (brand headquarters) offices, with flexibility for additional hours during critical business periods

Experience

Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in financial business partnering, with demonstrated success supporting senior leadership in brand management, commercial planning, or similar roles. Prior experience in luxury retail, FMCG, or consumer goods sectors preferred. Proven track record of translating financial insights into strategic business recommendations and influencing decision-making at executive levels.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent field. ACCA, CIMA, or CPA qualification is highly valued.
