Estée Lauder Companies seeks an ambitious and inspirational Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring smooth, efficient retail operations at a prestige beauty outlet. This supervisory-track role combines exceptional coaching and mentoring to guide the sales team in delivering personalized, authentic customer service while achieving all sales and service targets. The Key Holder manages essential opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation, and works retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor sales team members to model inspirational, personalized customer service behaviors
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily store operations and strategic initiatives
- Conduct opening and closing procedures on a rotating basis, including cash reconciliation and point-of-sale system management
- Monitor and achieve sales and customer service targets alongside the team
- Lead by example in demonstrating brand values and prestige beauty expertise
- Manage retail operations during assigned shifts, maintaining store standards and compliance
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Cash handling and retail operations experience, including store opening and closing procedures (desirable)
- Previous supervisory experience with coaching and mentoring capabilities (desirable)
- Familiarity with retail point-of-sale (POS) software systems
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events
- Proof of legal right to live and work in the United States
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of retail experience, preferably in cosmetics, makeup, or prestige beauty. Prior supervisory experience or retail operations responsibility is desirable but not essential for candidates demonstrating strong leadership potential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further retail, business, or related education is advantageous but not required.
