The Sales Associate supports retailer and SMC relationships, brand campaigns, department store communications, events, livestreams, channel programmes, advertising exposure, promotional materials, and expense checks. This is a seasonal, part-time position at The Cosmetics Company Store in Carlsbad Premium Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as a key contact for retailers, SMC, and retailer.com.
- Roll out brand campaigns.
- Communicate product information and programme execution details to department stores.
- Manage events by consolidating schedules, booking retailer event locations, monitoring reservations, and preparing event analysis reports.
- Conduct livestream programmes on the retailer’s online platform.
- Plan collaborative programmes for DS and SMC channels.
- Arrange advertising exposure across store mailers, direct-mail advertisements, banners, campaigns, and outposts.
- Collect retailer and competitor promotional direct-mail materials.
- Check department store expense deductions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business-related discipline.
- At least 2 years of proven retail sales planning experience in a large multinational corporation or matrix organization.
- Strong business acumen with a cost-conscious, results-driven, and customer-oriented mindset.
- Attention to detail; ability to work under pressure and manage tight schedules.
- Well-organized, able to prioritize, and capable of multitasking.
- Good command of computer skills, including Excel and Word.
