The Regional Supply Planning Director leads supply strategy and execution, accountable for product availability, Fill Rate, inventory health and sustained performance improvement. The role partners across Supply, IBP, Distribution, Finance and commercial teams, and leads structural improvement, digital capability deployment and a high-performing management team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a strategy to improve product availability, Fill Rate, inventory efficiency and supply resilience, driving sustainable performance improvement.
  • Own the Fill Rate improvement roadmap through proactive risk management, recovery plans, leading indicators and exception-based governance; eliminate chronic service issues and prevent recurring shortages.
  • Improve inventory health and productivity by optimizing stock levels, replenishment parameters, safety stock and deployment strategies while reducing excess, obsolescence and working capital exposure.
  • Lead data-driven trade-off decisions across availability, inventory investment, allocation, supply constraints and cost-to-serve, providing clear recommendations and quantified business impacts.
  • Partner with Demand Planning, IBP, Distribution, CRSM, Finance, Brands and Commercial teams to translate demand plans, launches and channel requirements into executable supply strategies, with clear functional ownership and executive-level decision governance.
  • Influence Global Supply teams to prioritize regional allocations, optimize product availability and improve Fill Rate projections and performance.
  • Lead the supply organization to anticipate and resolve service and inventory risks, balance customer service with Finance partnership on working capital, and strengthen end-to-end execution across Supply, IBP, Distribution and commercial partners.
  • Own structural improvement by eliminating recurring root causes, evolving the supply operating model and deploying scalable digital capabilities through the o9 Global Reference Model, advanced analytics, automation and AI solutions.
  • Develop a high-performing management team with clear operational accountability, enabling focus on strategic decisions, transformation and measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Significant leadership experience in supply planning, inventory management, replenishment, service performance and end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Proven accountability for product availability, Fill Rate improvement and inventory optimization in a complex, multi-brand or multi-channel environment.
  • Demonstrated success solving systemic problems, leading transformation and delivering measurable financial and operational outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of IBP, supply planning systems and integrated planning processes; experience with o9 or global reference-model deployment preferred.
  • Ability to translate AI, advanced analytics and automation opportunities into practical supply capabilities with appropriate governance.
  • Fluent English.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to challenge constructively, influence senior leadership and present clear, fact-based recommendations.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize high-impact initiatives, lead organizational change and maintain focus on long-term objectives while ensuring execution.
  • Ability to connect supply decisions with business priorities, anticipate risks and drive long-term performance improvements.
  • Strong ability to identify systemic issues, challenge existing processes and develop sustainable solutions rather than reactive fixes.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, foster accountability, delegate effectively and build strategic capabilities within the organization.
  • Ability to influence and align Global and Regional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset to translate complex data into actionable insights, evaluate trade-offs and support strategic decisions.
