Estée Lauder Companies seeks a Production Operator for permanent night-shift work at its manufacturing facility in Lachen, Switzerland. The role involves operating production equipment, assembling and packaging beauty products to quality specifications, conducting visual inspections, and supporting line leadership in a GMP-compliant cosmetics production environment. The position requires flexibility, technical aptitude, and a commitment to maintaining rigorous safety and hygiene standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supply and maintain production equipment with required components
- Operate and monitor production machinery and assembly lines
- Package and assemble products according to quality specifications
- Conduct visual inspections and quality control checks during production
- Assist with routine changeovers and setup of production equipment
- Perform in-process quality control and line release activities
- Ensure correct material usage in accordance with production specifications
- Support line supervisors in daily operations and troubleshooting
- Train and mentor new and temporary production staff
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
- Maintain strict compliance with safety, hygiene, GMP, and quality standards
- Ensure workplace organization and cleanliness
Qualifications
- Completed secondary education
- Good written and spoken German
- Technical understanding and interest in production equipment
- Independent, reliable, and precise work approach
- High quality and hygiene awareness
- Team capability, flexibility, and willingness to work irregular shifts
- Physical capability and aptitude for hands-on work
Skills
Experience
First-hand experience in a production environment is advantageous; GMP experience in cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred but not required.
