Role & Responsibilities
- Assist supervisor with assigning employees to work stations and manage production flow
- Inspect and audit orders for accuracy, content, and specifications using manufacturing systems
- Provide quality standards as guidelines for pressers, packers, and assemblers to follow
- Conduct and document random audits and evaluate process/product conformity to standardized specifications
- Determine product and process acceptability with respect to company standards and notify supervisor of quality issues
- Assist supervisor with root cause analysis of quality and accuracy issues and recommend corrective actions
- Perform clerical functions including filing, record keeping, report maintenance, and data entry into computer systems
- Verify flow racks for accuracy including lot traceability, quantities, and manufacturing issues
- Ensure line clearance processes are followed and verify expired product removal from flow racks
- Follow all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP) guidelines
- Assist with training and onboarding of new employees
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent or related work experience
- Minimum one year of production experience in manufacturing or distribution environment (preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly
- Must successfully pass written and practical tests achieving scores equivalent to national standards
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends, and all shifts
- Available to work across all Northtec facilities as needed
Skills
Experience
Minimum one year of production experience in manufacturing or distribution quality control operations preferred. Experience working with quality assurance systems, inspection protocols, and in a supervised production environment is beneficial.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; or demonstrated equivalent knowledge through related work experience.
