The Production Line Lead oversees fill and assembly operations for Estée Lauder Companies, directing production teams to achieve safety, quality, and productivity objectives. This role involves coordinating line activities, managing team performance, ensuring GMP and quality compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to meet manufacturing targets in a fast-paced environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead production line teams to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals
- Coordinate and execute filling and assembly operations
- Assign and rotate team members according to safety and operational requirements
- Monitor production performance, efficiency, downtime, and inventory usage
- Complete batch record reviews and ensure documentation accuracy
- Perform line clearances and support production changeovers
- Investigate production variances and inventory discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, quality standards, and company policies
- Train and support team members and temporary employees
- Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and supporting departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote a safe work environment and support Lean Manufacturing practices
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred
- 1-2 years of manufacturing, production, or related experience preferred
- Previous experience as a Process Setup Attendant or Quality Auditor preferred
- Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred
