Estée Lauder Companies seeks a Production Line Lead in Melville, NY to supervise fill & assembly operations, direct teams, and ensure manufacturing compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead production line teams to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals
- Coordinate and execute filling and assembly operations
- Assign and rotate team members according to safety and operational requirements
- Monitor production performance, efficiency, downtime, and inventory usage
- Complete batch record reviews and ensure documentation accuracy
- Perform line clearances and support production changeovers
- Investigate production variances and inventory discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, quality standards, and company policies
- Train and support team members and temporary employees
- Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and supporting departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote a safe work environment and support Lean Manufacturing practices
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred
- 1-2 years of manufacturing, production, or related experience preferred
- Previous experience as a Process Setup Attendant or Quality Auditor preferred
- Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred
