The Estée Lauder Companies seeks a Payroll Operations Manager to oversee outsourced pre-payroll services delivered by Accenture Managed Services in the North America Pay Services organization. This role serves as the primary operational contact for vendor-delivered payroll support, ensuring services are executed in accordance with established procedures, service level agreements, quality standards, and internal controls. The position manages vendor performance, escalations, and process compliance while collaborating with Payroll, HRIS, IT, and vendor leadership to drive operational excellence and support accurate, timely payroll processing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day delivery of outsourced pre-payroll services, monitoring adherence to service level agreements, key performance indicators, and quality standards
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex operational issues impacting vendor-delivered services, coordinating investigation and resolution across Payroll, HRIS, IT, and vendor teams
- Ensure vendor activities comply with approved Desktop Procedures, internal controls, and regulatory requirements; review transaction quality and service accuracy trends
- Maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders; participate in process improvement initiatives and support knowledge sharing activities
- Monitor service performance metrics, workload volumes, and backlog management; conduct regular operational reviews with vendor leadership
Qualifications
- Experience in Payroll Operations, HR Shared Services, HR Operations, or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environments
- Proven experience overseeing outsourced service delivery and vendor-managed operations
- Experience monitoring service levels, operational metrics, and quality standards
- Working knowledge of payroll and employee lifecycle processes
- Familiarity with HR and payroll systems such as Oracle E-Business Suite, ADP GlobalView, ServiceNow, UKG Pro, or BlueYonder

Experience in Payroll Operations, HR Shared Services, HR Operations, or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environments, with demonstrated proficiency in overseeing outsourced service delivery, managing escalations across multiple stakeholder groups, and monitoring operational metrics and quality standards in structured environments with defined procedures and controls.
