Estée Lauder Companies is recruiting an Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering and Change Parts Intern for a 13-month placement at Whitman Laboratories. The intern will support equipment validation, new product launches, continuous improvement, change part development, technical documentation and vendor coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support production equipment validation (PQ) and assist with the successful launch of new products.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on the assembly floor.
- Participate in 3D design, testing and printing to support change part development.
- Produce technical documentation and collaborate with engineers and technical operators.
- Coordinate with external vendors to help ensure key project milestones and timelines are achieved.
Qualifications
- Currently studying toward an undergraduate engineering degree or related subject and on track to achieve at least a 2:1 standard; a chemical, industrial or mechanical engineering degree is preferred.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and meet deadlines.
