Role & Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials from interplant and external facilities
- Verify accuracy of transactions and validate condition of goods through physical inspection
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment to retrieve, store, and replenish materials
- Utilize warehouse management systems to document and process shipping and receiving orders
- Ensure pallets meet EXACTA and customer supplier specifications
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and stock control
- Troubleshoot and communicate issues to ensure timely turnover in shipping and sortation areas
- Complete pre-shift checklists on powered material handling equipment, including battery maintenance and equipment cleaning
- Maintain a clean work environment and communicate any quality concerns
- Follow all safety and good manufacturing practices
- Assist with training of new employees
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some warehouse environment experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate Microsoft Windows Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Forklift certification required within 90 days
- Powered Material Handling Equipment (PMHE) License required
- English language proficiency (reading and writing)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
