Estée Lauder Companies Manager, Advanced Analytics

Role & Responsibilities

• Serve as lead systems administrator of the enterprise Data Platform, managing configuration, maintenance, and optimization
• Onboard and train new platform users while supporting the establishment and oversight of ongoing governance structures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement control enhancements and identify opportunities to optimize platform functionality
• Create and update system configurations to facilitate data collection for newly established goals, programs, and workstreams across brands and regions
• Partner with data owners to establish robust data collection functionality and comprehensive data verification and assurance capabilities
• Perform analyses and develop dashboards and reports based on requests from subject matter experts, brands, regions, and functions
• Develop strategic recommendations for evolving the Data Platform to deliver increased value across the organization
• Support internal and external reporting and disclosure requirements, including contributions to the annual data collection and verification process
• Contribute to quarterly internal reporting on progress toward digital goals
• Lead project planning initiatives with relevant stakeholders, establishing timelines and defining specific outcomes

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of data management and analytics experience within a sustainability, corporate responsibility department, or equivalent private sector role
• Minimum 3+ years of project management experience and/or platform/systems administration (Sphera Cloud Corporate Sustainability preferred)
• Very strong technical skills in SQL, Python, GCP, and Databricks
• Advanced proficiency with data visualization tools such as Looker and Power BI
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical with capacity to synthesize complex information and provide actionable recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a matrixed organizational environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools

Skills

Experience

5+ years of data management and analytics experience within a sustainability or corporate responsibility department; 3+ years of project management and/or platform and systems administration, preferably with Sphera Cloud Corporate Sustainability or similar enterprise data platforms.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or equivalent) is strongly preferred; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., in data management, GCP, or cloud platforms) are advantageous.
